Limited edition exact replica of a Sabertooth Tiger skull (Smilodon fatalis californicus) borrowed and copied from the La Brea (California) Tar Pits. Perfect for a table desk ornament or bookcase and even comes with a nice metal stand. Looks and feels like bone. If it was an original piece it would be worth at least $250000. Found in the 1930’s across the street from the La Brea Tar Pits. The site was immediately closed and is now under a bank building. This individual is remarkable in that it has its septum intact and has virtually no reconstruction. The molding and casting process captured the nasal cavity with its septum as well as the cavities where the sabers go. The sabers are complete. Available in white or black.
